Anthony Stone is a designer and tailor who has traveled all around the world to perfect his craft and deliver a quality service to the community around him.
He began his journey in the fashion world in Tokyo. In 2014 he enrolled in the fashion couture school ESMOD. At ESMOD he learned how to design, sew, and patter-cut. During his time in school he would intern with Tokyo Fashion week brands as well as study at an extra-curricular design academy, Cocconogakko.
After graduating from ESMOD in 2017 he spent time at a company making patterns for TFW brands, as well as creating samples and working with small production factories. During this time he felt that a lot of the work he was doing was creating more waste and noise in the industry. In search for better methods of making clothes he went to Ireland to study with master tailor Rory Duffy. During his time studying with Rory Duffy he perfected his sewing and tailoring abilities.
After finishing his studies in Ireland he returned to his hometown in Wisconsin where he worked with Rudolf Martirosyian where he learned a less rigid approach to clothing. During this time Anthony would take on side custom clothing projects for friends and family where he started playing with different approaches and ways to remake and lower waste in fashion design.
Today Anthony continues to make new interesting design concepts using old clothes. He creates beautiful bespoke garments cut to perfectly fit his clients lifestyles. Along with his custom design work he will also take on almost any alteration job to get your garments fitting exactly how you need them to.
Check out his atelier at 101 S. Broadway in DePere for any care your garments may need.
